DeAndre Hopkins is the front runner for the NFL’s 2020 play of the year after his game-winning catch against the Bills on Sunday.
The play, which saw Hopkins launch himself upward over three Bills defenders, gave the Cardinals a 32-30 with just a second remaining in the game, eventually improving Arizona to 6-3 this season.

Game-winning Hail Marys (you could argue this wasn’t one) are incredible enough on their own. But watching Hopkins show his incredible physical attributes to pull the ball down added an extra level to the play. The fact he wore Jumpman logo gloves over Adidas and Nike was another nice touch.
The play naturally has created a viral storm, and “Nuk” seems ready to embrace it. Perhaps that’s why he offered a signed jersey to the person who created the best meme of the moment:
