Trae Young has reportedly been ruled out of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Bucks, according to a dual report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews.
Per their report, Young will miss Tuesday’s game with a deep bone bruise in his right foot and will continue rehabbing in the hopes of returning for Game 5 on Thursday.

Young exited Sunday’s game near the end of the third quarter: He stepped backward after committing a turnover, stepping on a referee’s foot and seemingly twisting his ankle. He only missed a few minutes, though did admit he was “kind of sore,” and that his mobility was hampered by the injury.
Upon re-entering Sunday’s game, Young only scored on a 3-point jumper on 1-of-4 shooting, committing a turnover on the 113-102 loss as well. He finished the game with 35 points on 12-of-23 shooting (6 of 14 from 3) and four assists.
Atlanta confirmed ESPN’s report, releasing an injury report prior to tip-off. Apart from Young, the Hawks will be without Brandon Goodwin (minor respiratory condition) and De’Andre Hunter (right meniscus surgery). Lou Williams will come on in place of Young.

The Hawks will look to avoid falling into a 3-1 hole Tuesday when the Bucks visit Atlanta on Tuesday. That will undoubtedly be more difficult without Young in the lineup: He is averaging 29.8 points on 42.7 percent field goal shooting and a 32.6 percent 3-point percentage. He’s also averaging 9.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game in the playoffs.
